A training workshop entitled “Integrated pest management
and Awareness of COVID-19……” was organized by #FAHMIR #Pharma for its employees on 25-07-2020. This activity was aimed at skills development of workers and motivating them to work efficiently and responsibly. The #workshop focussed on enlightening the employees with the significance of pest control at a pharmaceutical manufacturing unit along with the importance of following #SOPs to reduce the risk of #COVID-19 infections and workplace. The workers were educated and trained on following specific points:
1. Introduction to Integrated pest management
2. Scouting in industrial cores
3. Eco-friendly applicable procedures and handling tactics
4. Threats to human health
5. Factors that influence the effective pest management operations.
6. Eradication V/S control support analysis
7. WHO recommended SOPs to be followed at the workplace to reduce the risk of COVID-19 infection.
